Assistant/Associate Professor Tenure-Track of Physician Assistant Medicine

About the role

Tarleton State University’s College of Health & Clinical Professions seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor on the tenure‑track to lead its new Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Medicine. The position is based in Stephenville, Texas and contributes to teaching, research, and service within the Division of Health Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate curricula in physician assistant medicine.
• Mentor and advise students, guiding their clinical and academic progress.
• Engage in scholarly research, publish findings, and secure external funding.
• Participate in departmental and university service, including curriculum committees and accreditation activities.
• Collaborate with clinical partners and community organizations to enhance experiential learning.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in a health‑related field.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching health‑science courses at the college level.
• Evidence of scholarly activity and a commitment to research.
• Ability to contribute to service and outreach initiatives.
