Adjunct Pharmacology Instructor (Part‑time)

About the role

Prairie View A&M University seeks a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Pharmacology courses for the Graduate Nursing Program during the Fall 2025 semester. This part‑time, non‑tenure position supports both classroom and clinical learning environments.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate expert knowledge of pharmacology and related content.
• Develop and deliver classroom and clinical learning activities.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate course materials for assigned courses.
• Collaborate with faculty coordinators to implement the curriculum.
• Construct and administer examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain regular communication with the FNP coordinator regarding student progress.

Required profile

• Current Pharmacy Doctorate (PharmD) and active licensure in Texas.
• PharmD earned from an accredited program.
• Prior experience teaching pharmacology.
