About the role
Prairie View A&M University seeks a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Pharmacology courses for the Graduate Nursing Program during the Fall 2025 semester. This part‑time, non‑tenure position supports both classroom and clinical learning environments.
Key responsibilities
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of pharmacology and related content.
- Develop and deliver classroom and clinical learning activities.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate course materials for assigned courses.
- Collaborate with faculty coordinators to implement the curriculum.
- Construct and administer examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
- Maintain regular communication with the FNP coordinator regarding student progress.
Required profile
- Current Pharmacy Doctorate (PharmD) and active licensure in Texas.
- PharmD earned from an accredited program.
- Prior experience teaching pharmacology.
