About the role

East Texas A&M University is seeking qualified educators to join its Dallas Campus as Adjunct Faculty for dual‑credit courses. This part‑time, face‑to‑face position involves teaching up to two courses (seven semester credit hours) during the academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Teach up to seven semester credit hours (maximum two courses) in the assigned discipline.
• Develop and manage class syllabi that meet department and college standards.
• Plan and deliver lectures, in‑class discussions, and assignments.
• Assess student performance through participation, assignments, examinations, and provide grades.
• Mentor and assist students as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department.

Required profile

• Ability to teach face‑to‑face at the Dallas Campus.
• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field, or a terminal degree in the field of study.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience.
