Adjunct Biostatistician Instructor – DNP Program

About the role

The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program seeks an Adjunct Biostatistician to provide statistical consultation and methodological support to DNP students and faculty. This part‑time faculty role ensures rigorous data analysis and ethical data management for evidence‑based practice, quality improvement, implementation science, and program evaluation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide statistical consultation on project design, sampling, data management, and analysis.
• Assist students in selecting appropriate statistical methods and tests.
• Conduct data analysis using SPSS, SAS, R, or similar platforms.
• Guide interpretation of statistical findings and support proper reporting.
• Collaborate with DNP faculty to align statistical approaches with project objectives.
• Review and give feedback on statistical sections of manuscripts, posters, and presentations.
• Participate in scheduled virtual or in‑person consultation sessions and serve on DNP project committees as a methodological consultant.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in biostatistics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience providing statistical support for health‑related research or doctoral‑level projects.
• Familiarity with evidence‑based practice, quality improvement, and implementation science methodologies.
• Ability to communicate statistical concepts clearly to graduate nursing students.
