VP Strategy and Business Development

About the role

This senior executive position leads the definition and execution of enterprise‑wide growth strategies within a fast‑moving healthcare and digital health environment. Reporting to senior leadership, the VP will shape market expansion, forge strategic partnerships, and drive commercialization of new offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own go‑to‑market strategies, targeting new regions, customer segments, and distribution channels.
• Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, customer behavior, and regulatory landscapes to guide strategic direction.
• Identify white‑space opportunities and translate insights into actionable growth initiatives.
• Source, negotiate, and close high‑value partnerships, alliances, and enterprise deals.
• Oversee the full business‑development lifecycle from opportunity identification to post‑deal integration.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment and execution of growth plans.
• Build business cases and value propositions for new offerings, aligning market needs with product capabilities.
• Lead and scale a high‑performing commercial strategy and business‑development function.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or commercial leadership.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP, Director, or equivalent).
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth through market expansion, partnerships, or product commercialization.
• Strong background in healthcare, digital health, payer, employer, or health‑plan ecosystems.
• Demonstrated success negotiating and closing complex enterprise deals.
