Vitreoretinal Account Manager – North Carolina

About the role
Alcon is seeking a Vitreoretinal Account Manager to drive sales of surgical ophthalmic products across North Carolina. You will act as the primary point of contact for vitreoretinal needs, supporting surgeons, OR staff and purchasing teams in hospitals, teaching institutions and ambulatory surgery centers.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for posterior and combined (CAT/VIT) procedural products, including capital equipment such as CONSTELATION VISION SYSTEM, PUREPOINT LASER and NGENUITY.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, high‑volume users and decision‑makers across multiple departments.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions and educational events for clinicians and staff.
- Maintain a customer database, provide regular market updates and competitive analysis.
- Prepare timely reports and documentation of sales activities in accordance with company policies.
Required profile
- Proven experience in medical or surgical device sales, preferably in ophthalmology.
- Strong ability to build professional relationships and influence purchasing decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
Required skills
- Knowledge of CONSTELATION VISION SYSTEM.
- Knowledge of PUREPOINT LASER.
- Knowledge of NGENUITY surgical platform.
