Visiting Student – Nursing Experience

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is offering a short‑term visiting student opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands‑on exposure to nursing education, laboratory work, and interprofessional simulations. This role does not confer academic credit and is designed for students who are not currently enrolled as degree‑seeking candidates at UAMS.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in nursing courses offered by the College of Nursing Administration.
• Engage in laboratory experiences and interprofessional simulation activities.
• Contribute to community service projects organized by the university.
• Complete the program without receiving academic credit or being enrolled as a degree‑seeking student.

Required profile

• Must be a visiting student not currently registered or seeking a degree at UAMS.
• Fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or hold an approved medical or religious exemption.
• Provide proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Agree to comply with university policies, including Title IX and safety regulations.
