About the role
TMZ, part of FOX Entertainment, is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join its fast‑paced TV news production team in Los Angeles. You will shape daily broadcast and web content, turning raw footage into compelling stories that engage our audience.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and edit video content for multiple television shows and digital projects using Adobe Premiere.
- Cut, color‑correct, and export video assets in Photoshop as needed.
- Assemble footage from various sources for broadcast and website publication while meeting tight daily deadlines.
- Collaborate with producers, writers, and other departments on simultaneous projects.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Supervising Producer.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of professional video‑editing experience, preferably in television news, broadcast, cable, or reality programming.
- Strong interest in entertainment and celebrity news.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver high‑quality edits on tight schedules.
- Team‑player mindset with excellent communication across departments.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Photoshop.
- Comfortable working on both Mac and PC platforms.
- Familiarity with Slack, Microsoft Office Suite, and general internet navigation.
