Vice President, Publisher Experience & Platform – Commerce Media

About the role

Mastercard is building a new digital media network, Commerce Media, that enables advertisers to deliver highly personalized ads on premium publishing channels. We are looking for a Vice President to own the end‑to‑end publisher platform, shaping its vision, roadmap, and execution while leading a high‑performing product team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the multi‑year product strategy and roadmap for the Commerce Media platform.
• Set the publisher experience strategy covering front‑end, back‑end, adapters (Pre‑Bid, SDK, JavaScript, VAST), decisioning, monetization, reporting, billing and onboarding.
• Translate publisher needs into clear product priorities and deliver a scalable platform by Q3 2026.
• Drive an API‑first approach to enable extensibility, partner integrations and internal reuse.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, Legal and Operations to align requirements, data strategy and privacy.
• Champion responsible, AI‑first product strategies, identify AI‑driven opportunities and establish guardrails for AI use.
• Communicate complex product trade‑offs to executives, customers and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Build, lead and mentor senior product leaders and managers across distributed teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in ad‑tech or digital media product management.
• Track record of delivering large‑scale platforms with strong focus on scalability, reliability and revenue growth.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams including engineering, data science and legal.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication and stakeholder management skills.
