Vice President, Healthcare Value Creation & Asset Management

About the role

The Vice President, Healthcare Value Creation & Asset Management will report to the Senior Vice President, Asset Management and work closely with senior executives, the investments team and FP&A. The role oversees a $1.7 billion U.S. healthcare portfolio spanning medical office buildings, inpatient rehab facilities, ambulatory surgery centers and micro‑hospitals, driving value‑creation and asset‑management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze project performance and identify technical, commercial or capital‑structure improvements, asset dispositions or organizational changes.
• Lead preparation and presentation of Investment Committee materials and support implementation of approved actions.
• Manage and oversee operating partners’ execution of asset‑specific business plans, construction and development activities.
• Develop internal templates, processes and procedures to ensure effective portfolio management and REIT reporting compliance.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Financial Planning & Analysis and Financial Reporting teams to maximize investment returns.
• Produce presentation materials that communicate complex concepts to senior leadership.
• Assist with due‑diligence and review of potential new acquisitions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive experience in U.S. healthcare real estate and asset management.
• Undergraduate degree; post‑graduate degree or MBA in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Engineering or Accounting is a plus.
• Experience in project development, asset management and/or construction management.
• Proven ability to assess and deliver value‑creation opportunities.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with data‑driven decision‑making.
• Effective communicator of complex concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Flexibility to adapt to new assignments and willingness to travel regularly across North America.
