Urgent Hire: Direct Care Worker

About the role

Maximum Care, Inc. is urgently seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers to support elderly, disabled, and individuals with intellectual disabilities in their homes. You will provide safe, respectful, and dignified care while helping clients maintain independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Provide physical and emotional care, including assistance with mobility, toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, and running errands.
• Accompany clients to appointments, offer transportation when needed, and remind them to take medications.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and stimulation to promote mental well‑being.
• Maintain accurate records of care activities and follow individualized care plans.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb and to stand, bend, kneel, or reach for extended periods.
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate attitude toward clients.
