Trade Development Specialist

About the role

The Trade Development Specialist supports the Trade Development team by executing the monthly business plan and ensuring seamless delivery of promotional programs, events, and POS initiatives. This internal position reports to the Trade Development manager and works closely with sales, marketing, and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and consolidate incentives, and coordinate training and communication for sales teams.
• Serve as primary contact for promotional agencies, handling bookings, tracking, and monthly activity recaps.
• Assist with inventory management, forecasting, demand planning, new item setup, and product allocations.
• Update pricing information and allocate resources for events, ensuring budget and timeline alignment.
• Create and administer surveys, compile data, and provide accurate reporting.
• Prepare monthly business updates, sales communications, and sell sheets to support channel plans.
• Coordinate POS logistics statewide and work with graphics teams to deliver promotional materials.
• Manage charity event participation, including 501(c)(3) documentation and sample donations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing large‑scale events and promotions.
• Current associate eligible to apply through the internal Career Portal.
