About the role
The Ticket Center Assistant provides essential support to the university’s ticketing operations, ensuring smooth service for students, staff, and visitors. This temporary, fixed‑term position is open to current University of Arkansas employees, including student workers and graduate assistants.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with daily ticket center activities, including ticket issuance and processing.
- Respond to inquiries from students, faculty, and external guests in a courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of ticket transactions and generate routine reports.
- Utilize the Workday system to log activities and update relevant data.
- Collaborate with other campus departments to resolve ticket‑related issues.
Required profile
- Current employee of the University of Arkansas system (student employee or graduate assistant).
- Ability to work on a temporary, fixed‑term schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with a diverse campus community.
Required skills
- Workday (experience using the platform for administrative tasks).
