Temporary Production Manager – Footwear & Accessories

About the role

Rag & Bone is seeking a Temporary Production Manager to lead the end‑to‑end production process for its footwear and accessories collections. You will act as the operational engine, moving products from prototype to shelf while managing costs, coordinating with overseas factories, and aligning cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule production runs and manage workflow across all product lines.
• Communicate daily with overseas factories to ensure orders meet schedule, specifications, and quality standards.
• Create, modify, and distribute purchase orders independently and with the team.
• Track work‑in‑progress reports, production timelines, and marketing material assets.
• Negotiate costs, lead times, and production terms with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, artwork approvals, and packaging specifications.
• Manage footwear costing from prototype through production, entering data into Fashion Flow.
• Collaborate with merchandising, design, logistics, and planning to confirm final buys and duty rates.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing production for footwear or accessories.
• Strong understanding of cost management, purchase order processes, and supplier negotiations.
• Ability to coordinate across merchandising, marketing, and operations teams.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues.
