Technical Training Specialist – BIM Modeling

About the role

Trimble is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to lead digital‑first training programs for its construction software suite. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, helping global firms adopt and master BIM modeling and fabrication workflows using Tekla Structures, Trimble FabShop, and the Trimble VDC bundle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑impact onboarding and training for Tekla Structures, Trimble FabShop, and Trimble VDC (SysQue & SmartTools) via virtual, self‑paced, and in‑person sessions.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to create and update curriculum using Articulate 360 and AI‑enhanced tools.
• Optimize the Trimble Construction One workflow for efficient detailing, connection application, and data accuracy.
• Serve as a primary customer‑facing representative, translating business goals into tailored training solutions.
• Manage advanced technical issues, identify software enhancements, and submit feature requests through Jira.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of hands‑on experience creating production‑ready BIM models with Tekla Structures or Trimble VDC.
• Expert‑level knowledge of Tekla Structures for structural steel or concrete, including component creation and detailing.
• Proven ability to mentor and train technical audiences in a virtual or hybrid environment.
