Supply Chain Technician – Full Time

About the role

Join Ochsner Health as a Supply Chain Technician, supporting the flow of medical supplies and equipment across hospital departments. You will ensure that clinicians have the right items at the right time, contributing directly to patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments, verifying bill of lading and visual condition.
• Maintain inventory levels, restock, rotate, and decontaminate reusable supplies.
• Prepare and deliver supplies to designated locations, logging deliveries and obtaining signatures.
• Perform cycle counts, end‑of‑year inventories, and general housekeeping in storerooms.
• Assist with special requests, manage par levels, and support the overall inventory process.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (required for vehicle operation).
• Forklift certification within 30 days of hire (required for Warehouse District Row location).
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call shifts.
• Willingness to travel between facilities as needed.

Required skills

• Computer and software proficiency for inventory systems and web‑based applications.
• Forklift operation competency.
