About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Summer Student Observer to join a laboratory team. This volunteer position provides a hands‑on learning experience in a research environment while supporting the institution’s mission of improving patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Observe laboratory procedures and experiments under supervision.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate interested in physiology, cell biology, or related fields.
• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or have an approved exemption.
• Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of the assignment.
• Commitment to the scheduled work shift for the summer period.
