About the role
Square is seeking a seasoned Strategic Account Manager to lead relationships with our largest Food & Beverage sellers across Dallas and the Central United States. You will act as the trusted advisor for high‑value restaurant merchants, helping them expand their business using Square’s integrated commerce platform.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 150‑175 strategic Food & Beverage sellers.
- Drive account‑based revenue through use‑case expansion, cross‑sell, and customized onboarding experiences.
- Serve as the voice of up‑market sellers to product teams, influencing roadmap priorities.
- Consult with restaurant owners and C‑level executives to align Square solutions with their growth objectives.
- Identify technical Square solutions that address merchant needs and oversee project execution.
Required profile
- Proven track record of exceeding key performance metrics in a customer‑facing sales role.
- Strong storytelling, organization, and persistence when influencing internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable leveraging technical frameworks to design product solutions.
- Deep awareness of commerce trends, especially within the Food & Beverage sector.
- Ability to navigate complex projects, negotiations, and ambiguous environments independently.
