Strategic Account Manager – Enterprise Sales (USA)

About the role
As a Strategic Account Manager at Scandit, you will drive new business acquisition within large enterprise accounts across the United States, focusing on retail and transport & logistics verticals. You will represent Scandit’s cloud‑based data capture, mobile barcode scanning, and augmented reality solutions to senior decision‑makers.
Key responsibilities
- Generate new sales opportunities through cold calling, outreach, and collaboration with the assigned POD structure.
- Position Scandit as a leader in cloud‑based data capture solutions.
- Conduct executive‑level selling across multiple decision‑maker layers within high‑potential accounts.
- Identify and engage prospects, present solutions, develop proposals, negotiate and close deals to meet annual targets.
- Maintain and manage the sales funnel using Salesforce and related campaign tools.
- Provide feedback on regional marketing events, speaking opportunities, and relevant industry publications.
- Collaborate with sales management and marketing to improve conversion rates and client satisfaction.
- Contribute insights to product development and business planning.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of software sales experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in large‑enterprise environments.
- Experience in retail or transportation/logistics sectors is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to represent Scandit publicly at events and seminars.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
