Spanish Foreign Language Teacher (Grades 7-12)

About the role

The school seeks a qualified Spanish teacher to instruct students in grades 7‑12. Under the principal’s supervision, the teacher will develop students' proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and cultural understanding of Spanish‑speaking countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a curriculum aligned with district goals and state standards.
• Create lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that address diverse learning needs.
• Teach language fundamentals including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and literature.
• Foster appreciation of Spanish‑speaking cultures through classroom activities and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and grades.
• Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with fellow staff members.
• Participate in professional development and school committees.

Required profile

• State certification as a foreign language teacher in Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of the Spanish language and its cultural contexts.
