Spa Receptionist

About the role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests at Tierra Santa Healing House, Faena New York. You will create a calm, welcoming atmosphere and ensure smooth front‑desk operations from arrival through departure, supporting the spa’s luxury wellness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check‑in/check‑out procedures with accuracy.
• Provide clear information on spa services, amenities, and policies.
• Handle bookings, cancellations, and modifications using the spa’s booking system.
• Coordinate therapist and aesthetician schedules to maximize treatment utilization.
• Assist VIP guests and special requests in collaboration with spa leadership.
• Process payments, gratuities, and retail purchases accurately.
• Maintain guest profiles, notes, and service history in the system.
• Support daily reporting, end‑of‑day reconciliation, and cash handling.
• Keep reception and retail areas clean, organized, and visually aligned with brand standards.
• Educate guests on spa products, support retail sales, and assist with inventory tracking.

Required profile

• 1–3 years experience in front‑desk, spa, or luxury hospitality environments.
• Professional, polished demeanor with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain composure under pressure, and prioritize guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
