About the role
Uber is seeking a Software Engineer to join its engineering team in San Francisco. In this role you will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that power Uber’s platform, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve reliability and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software applications using Uber’s technology stack.
- Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data and provide recommendations to resolve technical issues.
- Support business operations by improving engineering productivity and code performance.
- Build reusable software components that integrate into larger systems.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability.
- Monitor product quality in production environments and implement improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
