Software Engineer – Full‑Stack Web & Distributed Systems

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, build, and support modern web applications and distributed systems. The position is based in Miami and offers a full‑time, collaborative environment where clean, scalable code is valued.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web‑based applications and supporting systems.
• Implement new features while ensuring long‑term stability, performance, and code quality.
• Work across multiple languages, platforms, and frameworks in a full‑stack environment.
• Develop and maintain web content using CMS and publishing tools.
• Apply networking, security, and encryption concepts in application design.
• Communicate progress, serve as primary technical contact, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, stakeholders, and subject‑matter experts.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in application development, implementation, and support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.

• HTML, JavaScript.NET, C#, MVC, React, Angular, Bootstrap, Visual Studio, Git.
• SQL, ORM tools, database performance optimization.
• REST, JSON, XML, authentication, tokens.
• Object‑oriented programming, design patterns.
• Networking fundamentals, web security, encryption.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) preferred.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, source control, and work‑tracking systems.
