Service Technician – Water Treatment Systems

About the role
The Service Technician ensures customer satisfaction by installing, servicing, and maintaining water‑treatment equipment across assigned accounts. You will perform water quality testing, diagnose system issues, and guide customers on proper operation and maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain water softeners, filtration systems, and reverse‑osmosis units.
- Conduct water quality tests and system diagnostics to identify performance problems.
- Educate customers on system usage, maintenance best practices, and product features.
- Maintain accurate customer records using automated systems.
- Inspect, test, and monitor chemical changes in water‑treatment equipment.
- Prepare service estimates, collect water samples for analysis, and recommend appropriate chemical treatments.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication and active‑listening skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet time‑sensitive deadlines.
- Critical‑thinking, persuasion, and comprehension abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude and solid knowledge of chemical composition, processes, safety, and disposal.
Required skills
- Water quality testing and system diagnostics.
- Knowledge of chemical treatment procedures.
- Installation and maintenance of water‑treatment equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
