Service Technician – Rockledge Fairways

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the Rockledge Fairways property. The role ensures buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in routine safety meetings.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical or technical issues in residential properties.
• Experience following established maintenance procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory, and documentation.
• Willingness to perform both interior and exterior maintenance tasks.
• Commitment to safety protocols and participation in safety meetings.
