About the role

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty across Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and the Ross School of Business to develop resilient manufacturing systems and supply chains.
• Build and lead interdisciplinary research programs in mechanical engineering and manufacturing sciences.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses and mentor students.
• Contribute to departmental service and initiatives that eliminate systemic racism and sexism in STEM.

Required profile

• Earned Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
