Senior Principal Engineer – End-to-End AI Training Framework

About the role

Bosch Group is building the future of autonomous mobility. As a Senior Principal Engineer you will lead the creation of an end‑to‑end AI training framework that powers L2+ ADAS and autonomous driving features such as parking, driving and interior sensing across multiple vehicle trim levels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical roadmap for AI training pipelines, optimization, simulation and MLOps tooling.
• Design, develop and test the AI machinery, ensuring seamless integration with data sources, model repositories and target hardware.
• Collaborate with data‑engineering and infrastructure leads to shape the overall AI ecosystem architecture.
• Establish a rapid evaluation framework for emerging AI solutions and guide their transition from research prototypes to production‑ready systems.
• Implement best practices for system validation, SIL/HIL testing and continuous improvement on automotive‑grade hardware.
• Mentor a high‑performing team of AI scientists and engineers, fostering innovation and technical excellence.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, AI or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development and system engineering experience in autonomous driving or ADAS.
• Proven track record of releasing AI‑based L2+ systems to production.
