Senior Manager, Global Business Strategy & Planning

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Business Strategy & Planning for its Vision Care franchise. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, you will partner with senior leadership to shape analytics‑driven strategies, portfolio plans, and growth initiatives that impact patients and customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leaders to create strategic documents, PowerPoint decks, and decision briefs for Executive and Board audiences.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel models for forecasting, scenario design, sensitivity analysis, and key‑driver assessments.
• Develop transparent, defensible analyses linking assumptions to outcomes and quantify risks.
• Synthesize market, category, and competitive trends into actionable insights and prioritize portfolio opportunities.
• Lead cross‑functional projects across R&D, Manufacturing, Franchise, and Commercial teams, ensuring timely delivery of strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic planning, financial forecasting, or business analytics at a senior level.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for executive storytelling and data visualization.
