Senior Maintenance Technician – High Rise Property

About the role

The Senior Maintenance Technician will ensure that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas at the Aster & Links high‑rise property meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality. Working on a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties, you will be the primary point of contact for resident service requests and preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in accordance with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building or property maintenance, preferably in a high‑rise residential environment.
• Ability to work independently, follow established procedures and adhere to safety standards.
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate paperwork.
