Senior Investment Banking Associate – Industrials

About the role

Santander is seeking a Senior Investment Banking Associate to join its Industrials team in the United States. The role combines quantitative analysis, project management, and client interaction, offering a platform to develop expertise across M&A, leveraged finance, and equity capital markets.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior bankers in sourcing and executing transactions across the Industrials sector.
• Lead the preparation of client presentations, pitch books, and detailed financial analyses.
• Manage and review financial models, valuation studies, and transaction documentation.
• Oversee analysts’ deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Participate actively in client meetings, deal discussions, and negotiation processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, corporate finance, or investment banking.
• Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance concepts and investment banking products, preferably within the Industrials sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative, self‑starter attitude.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and manage multiple project workstreams.
