Senior Information Security Analyst

About the role

Stuller’s Security Operations team is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to lead advanced threat detection and incident response within its Security Operations Center. The role combines deep SOC expertise with the ability to mentor junior analysts and influence security strategy while ensuring compliance with NIST CSF and PCI‑DSS.

Key responsibilities

• Validate recommendations from MDR and IR providers, analyze security events across EDR/XDR platforms, network devices, and cloud services, and approve containment actions.
• Conduct rapid decision‑making during incidents and coordinate response with stakeholders while documenting details for compliance.
• Proactively hunt threats using threat intelligence, automation, and continuous monitoring; streamline response workflows and analyze vulnerability scans.
• Support penetration testing, translate threat advisories into IT initiatives, and oversee security engineering changes such as rule updates, identity controls, network segmentation, and logging improvements.
• Maintain and update governance, compliance, and continuous‑improvement processes aligned with NIST CSF and PCI‑DSS.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in a Security Operations Center with strong incident‑response and threat‑hunting capabilities.
• Proven ability to make rapid, high‑impact decisions under pressure.
• Experience mentoring analysts and contributing to security strategy.
• Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework and PCI‑DSS compliance requirements.
