Senior HR Business Partner

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner will be the primary HR liaison for Zillow’s fast‑growing Rentals organization, supporting sales, product, and operations teams. You will partner with senior leaders to design and execute people strategies that scale with the business while fostering a high‑trust environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the day‑to‑day HR point of contact for directors and front‑line managers across the Rentals portfolio.
• Provide coaching and consultation on performance management, organizational development, and leadership capability.
• Design and implement scalable HR programs that drive business outcomes and organizational effectiveness.
• Guide organizational design, workforce planning, and compliance initiatives.
• Lead investigations of policy violations with guidance from the HR Director.
• Collaborate with the broader People team to develop unified HR strategies, including program rollout and tool implementation.
• Assess HR needs in performance management, employee relations, compensation, career and leadership development, and deliver solutions in partnership with COE partners.
• Support communication and execution of cyclical HR initiatives such as calibration, annual reviews, compensation planning, and engagement surveys.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role in a high‑growth environment.
• Strong ability to build trust‑based relationships with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated resilience and agility in navigating changing organizational landscapes.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Experience handling complex organizational changes and investigations.
