Senior Consulting Advisor (Data & AI)

About the role

The Momentum Firm is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial, and hands‑on Senior Consulting Advisor to expand its Data & AI advisory capabilities across the United States. This part‑time, project‑based position works with public‑sector, education, nonprofit, and social‑impact clients to design and implement responsible AI and data modernization strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic consulting engagements focused on data modernization, AI readiness, analytics transformation, and digital innovation.
• Advise leaders in government, education, nonprofit, and social‑impact organizations on practical and responsible AI adoption.
• Develop enterprise‑wide data and AI roadmaps aligned with organizational goals and community outcomes.
• Facilitate executive workshops, stakeholder sessions, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Translate complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations for non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising C‑suite executives and designing AI‑enabled transformation strategies.
• Hands‑on leadership experience within a start‑up consulting environment.
• Ability to shape service offerings, lead client engagements, and position the firm as a trusted partner.
• Willingness to work on a freelance, as‑needed basis.
