Senior Attorney – Feature Film Development & Production

About the Role

Join a global leader in entertainment as a Senior Attorney dedicated to our Feature Film division. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our cinematic portfolio by managing a wide range of legal responsibilities across the entire lifecycle of live-action feature films, from initial development to final production.

Main Missions

• Negotiate and draft complex agreements related to the development, production, and acquisition of live-action feature films.
• Collaborate closely with internal creative, production, and finance teams to provide strategic legal and business guidance.
• Manage high-volume legal workflows, ensuring all projects align with company objectives and legal standards.
• Act as a key stakeholder in cross-functional discussions to ensure the seamless execution of the film program.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in film development, production, and acquisition.
• Proven track record in a major film studio, preferably in an in-house legal capacity.
• Deep expertise in rights management, talent contracts (above-the-line), licensing, and production services.
• Exceptional ability to navigate ambiguity and provide sound judgment in fast-paced environments.
• J.D. degree and active membership in at least one State Bar are required.
