Seasonal Photography Editing Intern

About the role

The Dallas Mavericks are looking for a motivated Photography Editing Intern to join the photo team for the 2026‑2027 season. This seasonal position offers hands‑on experience editing game‑day and event photos while supporting a fast‑paced sports media environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform color correction and tonal adjustments on digital photographs from games, night shoots, and special events.
• Support the photography team in on‑location shoot preparation and post‑production workflows.
• Label, organize, store, and archive images following established standards.
• Maintain a consistent, efficient digital workflow and a clean workstation.
• Complete assignments on time according to direction and adapt to additional duties as needed.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Lightroom Classic.
• Strong visual composition sense and attention to detail.
• Understanding of production techniques such as layering and color management.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Knowledge of basketball, the Dallas Mavericks, and NBA storylines.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays for games and events.

What we offer

• Seasonal internship from October 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027 (duration may adjust).
• Up to 29 hours per week, 3‑4 days, including evenings and weekends.
