Sanitation Supervisor – Manufacturing Facility

About the role

The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and overseeing all sanitation activities at Tampico Bottling’s plant in Palestine, Texas. This role ensures day‑to‑day cleanliness, compliance with plant sanitary policies, and adherence to regulatory and GMP requirements while fostering continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily sanitation activities in line with the quality system, regulations, and company procedures.
• Conduct sanitation and environmental testing, record and analyze data to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Train and educate staff on proper sanitation techniques, procedures, and record‑keeping.
• Create, maintain, and manage documentation for non‑compliances and corrective/preventive actions.
• Promptly resolve sanitation‑related issues to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Maintain sanitation equipment and order supplies to ensure operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a science‑related field.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food safety.
• Experience with sanitation procedures and environmental testing.
• Ability to manage preventive controls and documentation.
