Sales Representative – On Premise – San Diego Downtown

About the role
We are looking for a Sales Representative to manage on‑premise accounts in downtown San Diego. The role focuses on growing relationships with bars, restaurants and other venues, promoting our beer, wine and spirits brands and achieving sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Visit assigned accounts daily, following an efficient route plan.
- Identify sales opportunities, conduct surveys and ensure compliance with national account standards.
- Deliver professional sales presentations, introduce new products, and manage bar placements, drink lists and promotions.
- Maintain inventory levels, restock shelves where permitted, and monitor out‑of‑stock situations.
- Provide product training and education to account staff.
- Process credits, returns and manage receivables, including collection of payments where legal.
- Handle customer issues, deliver products in special circumstances and refer escalations to management.
- Achieve distribution, volume and activity goals set for supplier brands.
- Support new account openings by preparing opening orders with the Field Sales Manager.
Required profile
- Current associate of Breakthru (internal applicants only).
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for traveling to customer locations.
- Full‑time availability.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
