About the role

The Retail Store Associate joins CVS Health’s pharmacy‑focused retail environment, delivering compassionate, customer‑centric service while supporting store operations. This part‑time position works directly with shoppers, helping them navigate health‑related products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and assist with locating items.
• Provide differentiated service by anticipating needs and resolving issues.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit‑card transactions following company policies.
• Restock shelves, receive vendor deliveries, update pricing, and perform inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including store readiness and security.
• Assist other departments such as photo, beauty, and pharmacy, ensuring they remain stocked and operational.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs that enhance customer health journeys.

Required profile

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lb occasionally.
• Good close visual acuity for computer terminals and detailed inspections.
• Previous retail or customer‑service experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
