Residence Life Furnishing Assistant – Part‑time Summer Support

About the role

The Residence Life Furnishing Assistant supports the Residence Services team at the University of Arkansas at Monticello by preparing campus housing for the upcoming academic year. This part‑time, summer‑only position may involve work outside regular business hours to ensure rooms are fully furnished and ready for student occupancy. The role provides hands‑on assistance in setting up residence halls and contributes to a smooth transition for incoming students.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in arranging and setting up furniture in residence halls.
• Coordinate with campus staff to inventory and track furnishings.
• Support inventory management and documentation of housing supplies.
• Help schedule and receive furniture deliveries as needed.
• Perform basic clerical tasks related to housing preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
