About the role
We are seeking a Remote Travel Consultant to join our corporate travel team, delivering exceptional service to business clients across the United States. The role focuses on advising, booking, and managing travel itineraries using Amadeus and other GDS platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Advise and arrange travel for corporate customers, both individuals and groups.
- Research travel options, anticipate traveler needs, and promote additional services.
- Book domestic and international business travel—including air, road, rail, and accommodations—across varying levels of complexity.
- Utilize the Amadeus Global Distribution System to secure reservations and issue tickets.
- Ensure compliance with client travel policies, service‑provider rules, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide courteous telephone service, handling special requests and urgent changes.
- Collaborate with teammates to coach, mentor, and share feedback for continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of corporate travel experience.
- Strong passion for client service and proactive problem solving.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and integrity when handling personal traveler information.
- Solid understanding of the travel industry, including business and leisure segments.
- Ability to resolve customer issues independently and work effectively with suppliers.
- Team‑oriented mindset with openness to feedback.
- Flexibility to support a 24 × 7 operation as needed.
Required skills
- Expertise in the Amadeus GDS platform.
- Comprehensive fares and ticketing knowledge, including complex fare structures.
- Proficiency in applying travel‑policy compliance and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective telephone service techniques for handling special requests.
