Project Manager – Store Design (North America)

About the role

The Project Manager, Store Design will develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules for all North America store design and construction initiatives. You will ensure milestones are met by proactively identifying risks, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and driving accountability across stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed timelines for new builds, renovations, and enhancements, aligning design, permitting, and construction phases.
• Monitor progress against key milestones and provide regular status updates to leadership and project teams.
• Identify potential delays related to permitting, landlord approvals, shipping logistics, and other dependencies; escalate issues and propose solutions.
• Act as the central point of contact for scheduling, collaborating with design, construction, operations, and external partners.
• Implement best practices for scheduling and tracking, continuously improving tools and workflows.
• Facilitate regular check‑ins and milestone reviews to keep all parties informed of deadlines, risks, and required actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in project scheduling or coordination within retail, architecture, or construction environments.
• Deep knowledge of North America retail processes, including permitting (DOB/DOH) and landlord coordination.
• Strong understanding of North America permitting processes and landlord requirements.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scheduling tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
