About the role
Positive Behavior Steps is looking for a meticulous and professional Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of client and organizational data that supports our behavioral health programs.
Key responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain client records, program data, and organizational information across multiple databases.
- Review and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before entry.
- Process incoming data from clinical, administrative, and operations teams.
- Identify and correct data discrepancies promptly.
- Generate detailed data reports for internal review.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems in line with company policies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with data migration, cleansing, and database management projects.
- Handle all data confidentially, complying with HIPAA and privacy regulations.
- Respond to internal data requests and suggest workflow improvements.
Required profile
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, IT or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or a healthcare‑related role.
- Typing speed of 50–60 WPM with high accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
