Private Equity Associate – Energy Transition Growth Equity

About the role

We are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join a fast‑growing energy transition growth‑equity platform. The role is remote with a preference for candidates based in San Francisco, and secondary preferences for Pennsylvania or New York.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute minority growth equity investments.
• Build and maintain financial models, underwriting analyses, and investment assessments.
• Support fundraising initiatives and manage LP‑related activities.
• Collaborate directly with portfolio company management teams.
• Drive strategic and operational initiatives across portfolio investments.
• Participate in transaction execution, due diligence, and preparation of investment committee materials.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in infrastructure investing, growth equity, investment banking, project finance, or strategic finance.
• Strong financial modeling and transaction execution capabilities.
• Demonstrated interest in energy transition, electrification, storage, and related infrastructure.
• Ability to thrive in lean, entrepreneurial investment environments.
• Commercial mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• MBA background is a plus.
