Private Banker – Latin America Coverage (NY)

About the role

Santander Private Banking International is seeking a Private Banker (or Senior Banker) to lead its Latin America coverage from New York. You will act as a trusted advisor to high‑net‑worth individuals and families, helping them preserve, grow, and transfer wealth across generations while leveraging Santander’s global platform and local market expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients with at least $4 million in liquid assets.
• Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with existing clients in the Latin America region.
• Identify and acquire new HNW clients, delivering a high‑touch experience.
• Collaborate with investment, credit, and product specialists to provide tailored solutions across investments, credit, wealth planning, daily banking, cross‑border transactions, and customized financing.
• Deliver sophisticated cross‑border solutions that align with each client’s financial objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience serving high‑net‑worth clients, preferably in private banking or wealth management.
• Strong knowledge of Latin American markets and the ability to navigate cross‑border financial needs.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor and manage complex client relationships.
