About the role
The Academy of Arts & Technology, a top‑performing public charter school in Marion, Ohio, is seeking an experienced and motivated Principal to lead its K‑8 campus. The Principal will be the instructional and administrative leader responsible for advancing the school’s academic vision, student achievement, and daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic instructional design, including integrated curriculum implementation and blended learning models.
- Direct instructional coaching, teacher evaluation, and use of assessment data to guide instruction.
- Ensure high levels of student achievement through rigorous, engaging programs and adherence to Adequate Yearly Progress goals.
- Oversee curriculum, pedagogy, lesson‑plan review, and regular classroom walkthroughs.
- Promote social‑emotional wellbeing and manage school‑wide PBIS and cultural programming.
- Foster a growth‑focused professional environment for staff development.
Required profile
- Proven experience in school leadership, preferably in a charter or public school setting.
- Strong instructional leadership skills with a track record of improving student outcomes.
- Ability to manage daily operations, staff, and resources effectively.
- Commitment to creating a rigorous, nurturing environment for all students.
