Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Internal Medicine

About the role

Fenway Health is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Primary Care team in Boston. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, trauma‑informed primary care to a diverse patient population while advancing health equity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient‑centered, affirming primary care across the lifespan.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, nurses, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators.
• Champion equity by respecting each patient’s identity and lived experience.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to integrated services that include HIV care, behavioral health, and gender‑affirming care.

Required profile

• Certified NP or PA licensed (or license‑eligible) in Massachusetts.
• Commitment to culturally competent care in a fast‑paced community health setting.
• Passion for serving LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other historically underserved groups.
• At least two years of clinical experience in community health, public health, or trauma‑informed care (highly valued).
• Strong dedication to team‑based, mission‑driven work.
