About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to join its NIDA‑funded T32 training program. This position is designed to develop the next generation of addiction scientists through a collaborative, multi‑mentor model.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research focused on addiction science.
• Engage with multiple mentors to advance scientific expertise and career development.
• Contribute to the goals and mission of the T32 program, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings.
• Maintain compliance with institutional policies, including COVID‑19 vaccination requirements.

Required profile

• PhD in a field relevant to addiction research.
• Strong academic background and a research plan aligned with the T32 program objectives.
• Selection by the principal investigator of the T32 grant.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved exemption.
