Platform Solution Architect – Information Systems Officer

About the role

The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund‑Pension Administration is seeking a senior Information Systems Officer to serve as the Platform Solution Architect. Based in New York, the role will lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions that connect UNJSPF systems with member organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for enterprise integrations, defining end‑to‑end interface architectures aligned with the Fund’s target‑state architecture.
• Design and oversee integration patterns using MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and event‑driven architectures, including API‑led connectivity and canonical data models.
• Architect the integration layer between ERP, ITSM/HRSD/CSM and the pension administration platform, ensuring data integrity, security and auditability.
• Provide technical leadership on complex initiatives, owning architecture decisions, non‑functional requirements and integration governance.
• Establish and maintain integration standards, API governance, reference architectures and reusable design patterns; participate in the architecture review board.
• Mentor engineers, integration developers and contract staff, reviewing and approving architectural artefacts.
