Phone Nurse (RN) – Family Medical Center

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide telephone‑based clinical support for patients of the Family Medical Center. The RN will handle incoming calls, assess patient needs, and coordinate appropriate follow‑up care while working day shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Answer patient calls and perform initial clinical assessments over the phone.
• Document encounters in the electronic health record and ensure accurate information transfer.
• Provide health education, triage advice, and schedule appointments or referrals as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated care.
• Maintain compliance with privacy regulations and institutional policies.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure in the United States.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Experience in patient communication, triage, or telephone nursing preferred.
