About the role
Alcon is seeking a Dry Eye Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to cover a large territory that includes Bronx and Manhattan, NY. The role is field‑based with remote flexibility and focuses on building disease awareness, supporting patient access, and driving sales growth for eye‑care products.
Key responsibilities
- Build disease awareness with key physicians and practitioners.
- Collaborate on prior authorizations, payor restrictions, and reimbursement issues.
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan, managing the sales budget.
- Maintain compliant, medically relevant programs to increase customer satisfaction.
- Visit and manage accounts across the territory, establishing strong relationships with opinion leaders.
- Coordinate trainings, product presentations, and market events.
- Prospect new accounts and identify growth opportunities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school + 10 years, Associate + 6 years, M.S. + 0 years).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to travel within the Bronx and Manhattan territory.
